Social Worker - Assessment - Bedford - Up to £42,876Per Annum

We are currently working on behalf of Bedford Borough who are looking for social workers to join their Duty & Assessment team. They will consider candidates with a range of experience, which means this is a great opportunity to try something new and boost your career development.

The Assessment Team provides high quality, timely management of assessments and related activity for social work relating to children in need, and provides other assessments in private law proceedings, asylum cases and any forum where social work assessment skills can improve outcomes for vulnerable children.

Duties of this Social Work Role:

* Initial/core assessments
* Section 17s, section 7s and section 47s
* Attending LAC reviews
* Attending children in need meetings
* Attending pre-birth conferences
* Supervised contact
* Child protection visits

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Completed ASYE
