Social Work Assistant Team Manager - Children with Disabilities - Buckinghamshire - up to £44,007 per annum + benefits

We are currently looking for an assistant team manager (social work qualified) to join the Children with Disabilities Team in Buckinghamshire. They are looking for an assistant team manager who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.

They are looking for motivated, ambitious and inspiring assistant team manager. The Children with Disabilities Service delivers statutory social work services to children and young people aged 0-25 years with a disability, as well as a range of support services to enable families to care for their children successfully.

Duties as an Social Work Assistant Team Manager:

* Reporting to a Team Manager, the Assistant Team Manager is responsible for:
* Promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
* Improving children and young people's life chances and outcomes in the care of their parents, or other carers
* Assisting with the leading, managing and supervising social work practice
* Assessing, planning, delivering and reviewing social work services
* Assuring the quality of practice, managing performance and delivering value for money
* developing effective transitions pathways and are building good relationships with SEN colleagues to ensure that children and young people benefit from joined up services

Essential requirements as a Social Work Assistant Team Manager:

* Social Work qualified with extensive post qualified experience
* Social Work England registration
* Have a passion for working with young people with disabilities
* Have a strong leadership style and can lead staff with an excellent background in quality assuring social work
* You will share our dedication and passion to improve the lives of children and young people
* The legal right to work in the UK
