Social Worker - CSE/Awaken Team - Blackpool - £35 Per Hour
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen in Blackpool's newly re-modelled Awaken Team. Awaken is a multi-agency Child Exploitation and Missing from Home service led by Children's Social Care, Police and Health who's primary function is to support children and young people who are at risk/ victims of child criminal exploitation and/or child sexual exploitation and bring offenders to justice.

The team are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a diverse range of skills who is able to demonstrate a flexible approach and clear understanding of child exploitation and has a passion for working with adolescents.

* Dartington Social Research Unit - we're working with this independent charity to take new, innovative approaches to social care
* The Pause Project - this enables us to work more closely with women who have experienced, or are at risk of, repeat removals of children from their care

Experience Required:

* Good understanding of safeguarding children processes
* Experience of court work
* Experience of managing a varied and complex case load
* Ability to write concise,fit for purpose reports/court statements and ability to maintain up todate and accurate records.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Experience of inputting into children's services data systems (Mosaic;ICS)
* Ability to be flexible, resilient and reflective
