Responsibilities as an Assessment Social Worker:

* Be an effective part of the Restorative Practice Model
* Focusing on building relationships, valuing people and working together to achieve positive outcomes
* Managing your own caseload depending on experience and complexity of cases
* Utilising specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions needs assessments, care planning, and child protection investigations
* Working in a collaborative way to best support families and children
* Carrying out high-quality assessments, using child-centered, community-focused, and multi-agency interventions to bring about positive change
* Ensuring children and young people are adequately protected in line with Dudley LSCB, departmental policy and procedures, and relevant legislation

As a Social Worker, you will be/have:

* Social work qualified with a good level of experience in working with children and families
* Have completed section 47 investigations
* Possess sound knowledge of legislation and guidance
* Social Work England Registration
* Eligibility to work in the UK
