Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Team - Sefton - £29.57 per hour

An experienced social worker is required to join Sefton Council within a tight knit Children with Disabilities Team. The ideal social worker will take pride in assessing, planning and reviewing the needs of children and families.

As a Social Worker, you will be surrounded by experienced social workers and management who will assist you in your practice as a social worker.

Duties as a Children with Disabilities Social Worker:

* Liaising with other professionals
* Relevant legislation
* Holding complex cases
* Working with children on child protection plans, looked after children and children in need
* Child protection care proceedings
* Attending court
* Court reports
* Working with the new Public Law Outline (PLO)
* Section 47s
* Core assessments
* Child protection meetings
* Case conferences
* Attending LAC reviews

Essential requirements as a Social Worker:

* Social Work England registration
* Social work qualification
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Post-qualified experience
