About the opportunity

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, personable and customer-focused individual to join our Team as an Assistant Recruitment Consultant on our private nursing desk. Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional levels of customer service and managing your own pool of candidates in order to fill client's temporary nursing vacancies quickly and efficiently. You will be working on a warm and lucrative desk, matching qualified candidates to available shifts and will be responsible for sourcing new candidates through a variety of different methods.

What you will be doing

* Building and maintaining relationships with nurses and healthcare professionals
* Delivering exceptional levels of customer service on every interaction
* Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods including; the internal database, advertisements, job boards, referrals and social media
* Daily calls to potential candidates to find out their requirements and to inform them of the roles you have available
* Proactively engaging with healthcare professionals to ensure they are supported throughout the recruitment process and their requirements are being met
* Building and maintaining the candidate database
* Checking and responding to emails and booking enquires in a timely manner
* Dealing with client queries via telephone and email
* Working with the Compliance Team to ensure compliance and quality control documentation (e.g. DBS checks) have been completed
* Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates in-line with your client's requirements
* Creating, maintaining and developing a network of candidates within our niche area
* Appropriately matching candidates to roles based on client requirements
* Ensure timesheet queries are dealt with efficiently

Skill set and experience required

* Previous experience in a customer-focused environment
* Experience in a customer service or sales-based role
* Excellent levels of customer service
* A high attention to detail
* Self-motivated and hardworking
* Driven and ambitious
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Interpersonal, with the ability to show understanding, empathy and rapport building skills
* The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
* Ability to plan and prioritise a demanding workload
