Social Worker - Care Management

Social Worker - Care Management - Sandwell - £29.93 per hour

Liquid Personnel require a social worker and / or senior social worker to join a care management team in Sandwell.

This role will involve the successful social workers to work in the care management of children and young people
who are looked after, subject to a Child Protection Plan, subject to statutory orders and young people assessed as being in need of long term support. This role will also require involvement in the delivery of therapeutic services where appropriate.

Duties as a Care Management Social Worker:

* Managing a complex caseload of children and young people
* Conducting a range of assessments whilst listening to the views of the people you're supporting
* Using best practice and ensuring all legislative requirements are met
* Delivering high-quality children's plans in a pro-active and timely manner, with a strong emphasis on the child's voice
* Empowering children, young people, and their families/carers by listening to their views
* Providing written reports, in a variety of different formats as required by the receiver of the court

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Must have child protection and children in need experience
