Social Care Specialist / Social Worker - Mental Health

Band 7 Social Care Specialist / Social Worker - Mental Health - Gloucester - £31 - £35 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work for our client in Gloucester for an exciting position.

Successful candidates will ideally worked in a mental health statutory role previous and have knowledge or mental health.

This role has been described as follows:

* Provide social workers with professional supervision
* Advise on and trouble-shoot community care panel applications and ongoing packages of care
* Advise on application of The Care Act, Section 117 Aftercare, MCA and MHA
* Assist in policy and procedure work
* Must have sound knowledge of mental heath issues and some experience of supervision and/or management

Essential requirements:

* Eligible to work in the UK
* Qualified as a Social Worker
* Previous Mental Health experience
* Degree, Diploma or Masters in Social Work
* Full UK licence
