Social Worker - Children's Safeguarding Team - Tamworth - Staffordshire - £29.93 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join a Children's Safeguarding Team based in Staffordshire.

The successful Social Worker will have the opportunity to join a busy complex Safeguarding Team. You will be responsible for providing a direct Social Work safeguarding and support service within a Children and Families Teams. With a focus on restorative Social Work practice, the service provides Social Workers with excellent management support and supervision to encourage best practice.

Responsibilities of this Children's Safeguarding Social Worker role include:

* To carry out a range of Social Work tasks as allocated by the Team Manager
* Holding and managing a full caseload, prioritising all work in accordance with the Directorate's
* Initiate, draft & produce reports
* Ability to deal with / record casework, communicate effectively with client groups & professionals in order to assess client needs
* Planning, carrying out and monitoring all activities required for individual children and families to ensure that they are achieving their assessed outcomes
* Attend & organise case conferences & reviews for the purpose of assessing & monitoring the development of service users
* Create and develop person-centred care plans
* Undertaking regular reviews of individual children's and family's situations and to use the outcome to formulate new arrangements and plans in conjunction with service users and other agencies

Requirements of this Children's Safeguarding Social Worker role include:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* A full UK license holder
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree or equivalent in Social Work
