Social Worker - Emergency Duty Team - County Durham - £27 per hour

We are currently looking for a highly qualified Social Worker to join an Emergency Duty Team (EDT) based in County Durham.

The successful Social Worker will have a challenging and varied role with the support of social work assistants and edge of care workers to support people experiencing a wide range of crises.

Duties of this Social Worker role include supporting the following:

* Children or adults who need safeguarding
* Children or young people who need to be accommodated
* People experiencing domestic abuse
* Young people in mental health crisis and self-harming
* People who need to be detained under the mental health act
* Families in crisis

Essential Requirements of this Social Worker role include:

* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK drivers' licence
* Post-qualified experience
