Social Worker - First Response Team

Social Worker - First Response Team - Leicestershire - £32 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the first response team in Leicestershire.

The successful Social Workers aim in this role will be to deliver and provide professional Social Work services to children, young people and families to ensure the welfare of children and young people is safeguarded and they are protected.

Duties as a Social Worker include:

* Providing practical and social work support for children, young people and families.
* Holding a complex caseload.
* Undertaking assessments.
* To take responsibility for ensuring that all work undertaken in connection with assessment, planning, monitoring and review functions are undertaken in an efficient and effective manner which demonstrates a positive impact and outcome for children, young people and their families.
* Visiting children and their families.
* Carrying out interventions.
* Taking on direct work with children, young people and families.
* To contribute to regular individual performance and development consultations and undertake any necessary training and professional learning and development.
* To strive to achieve and maintain best practice standards in all aspects of the work undertaken and exercise sound professional judgements at all times.

Requirements as a Social Worker include:

* Social Work England registration
* Social Work qualification with post-qualified experience
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* A full UK licence
* Degree or equivalent in Social Work
