Senior Social Worker - MASH - Haringey - £43,860 - £48,819 per annum

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a MASH Team based in Haringey.

The MASH service plays a vital role in making sure they make the right decisions at the right time, to ensure they get things right as early on in the child's journey as possible via informed multi-agency information sharing. They are a busy and supportive multi-agency team focused on determining a children's level of needs in order to ensure the most at risk children are protected promptly and children with complex needs receive the relevant support early on.

They are actively working to reduce caseloads across the service and provide mobile working technology so that you spend more time with children and young people, doing what really matters.

Responsibilities of this Senior Social Worker role include:

* Manage a number of complex cases, determining suitable thresholds in a timely manner and making recommendations about level of need and next steps in line with the Haringey Threshold guide
* Liaising effectively and efficiently with both internal and external partners to ensure that children and young people are safe
* Support your respective team manager and deputy team manager in developing the team, e.g., supporting and mentoring ASYEs and less experienced colleagues, and helping to implement positive change and drive a high-performance culture in the team and service at large

Essential requirements of this Senior Social Worker role include:

* A relevant social work qualification and Social Work England membership
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Post qualified experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication
