Support Worker - Lincoln - £10.32 per hour

Contract: 12-week initial rolling contract

Working hours: Shifts range between 8am - 10pm, week in hand rota

We are currently looking for x2 Support Workers to join a fantastic team in Lincoln who use a ustep model. You will be helping to support a block of 12 flats, working 1:1 with individuals who need help and support with day to day life including cleaning, shopping and exercise.

Duties as a Support Worker:

* Work from planned rotas, including sleeping-in support shifts as required
* Providing bespoke 'Person-Led' daily living support
* Being responsible for delivering, punctually and respectfully, what we have promised at all times
* Provide a 24-hour personal care and holistic enabling support Develop the daily living skills of the people we serve to gain greater personal independence Follow all support, policy, process and regulatory guidelines at all times
* Communicate effectively using the tools and reporting process appropriately
* Keep individuals free from any form of harm or abuse and protecting everyone's safety Be self-disciplined in providing the agreed level of support at all times

Essential requirements of this Support Worker role:

* Previous experience of working with vulnerable people with complex needs
* Relevant training and qualifications within a social care setting MAPA trained
* Car driver with full clean driving license
* The legal right to work in the UK
* A positive 'can do' approach
* The ability to rise to challenges with integrity, discipline, calmness and self confidence
