Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Forensic Psychiatrics Nurse to join our client based in HMP Wormwood Scrubs.

Your main responsibilities as a Forensic Psychiatrics Nurse:

• Be responsible and accountable for the management of own caseload as directed by the Team Leader.
• To undertake assessments of patients referred by primary care staff, officers, probation, substance misuse services and other referral sources on the wings.
• To provide psychosocial interventions for patients with moderate to complex mental health difficulties in the primary care setting.
• Jointly facilitate group work with multi-disciplinary colleagues (including education staff).
• To complete clinical risk assessments at first and subsequent assessment interview and accurately record and report key risks.
• To develop care plans in collaboration with the patient, carer and other relevant person or agency.
• To review and evaluate treatment plans at agreed intervals in collaboration with the patient and members of the multidisciplinary team.
• To provide care co-ordination function: either named Mental Health Nurse, CPA Care Co-ordination Professional to patients within your caseload.

What we are looking for in a Forensic Psychiatrics Nurse:

• NMC registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
