Community Resource Worker – Bradford – Children In Care
Liquid Personnel is currently looking for a Community Resource Worker to join our client’s team in Bradford.
Due to the nature of this role, our client requires a Community Resource Worker who has post qualified experience in a similar role.

Your duties as a Community Resource Worker:
- To assess the emotional, physical, intellectual and cultural needs of both child and carer particularly from the Community in partnership with them and to respond to families in crisis and children in need, offering linguistically and culturally sensitive support, advice and guidance appropriate to the situation and in the most appropriate setting e.g. family/carer’s/child’s home, family centre, resource centre, constituency office, residential unit or community setting.
- To develop and deliver a preventative service and, where appropriate, to rehabilitate, maintain and improve the quality of care provided both inside and outside the family group.
- To further the provision of the Department’s services to children and families as required by relevant legislation.
- To work in partnership with other agencies within the local community.
- Maintain electronic case files records and systems.
Further requirements:
To undertake responsibility as a case holder for a number of children in need, excluding those on the Child Protection Register or subject to a Child Protection investigation, who may be subject to statutory involvement and/or require regular visits.
This will include responsibility for arranging appropriate meetings.
Essential requirements of this Community Resource Worker role:
To develop awareness of the needs of children/young people from the community, contribute to their emotional, psychological and physical needs, and where appropriate enable individuals to understand, accept and change their personal situation you will also be required to have the legal right to work in the UK.
