Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an Experienced Head of Service to join our client’s team in Hampshire.

Due to the nature of this role, our client requires a Head of Service who has post qualified experience in a similar role.

Your duties as a Deputy Head:

• Your role will be to primarily lead the strategic development, co-ordination, and operational delivery of effective youth justice arrangements through at a targeted preventative and specialist statutory level reporting directly to the Assistant Director for Early Help, Prevention and SEND.
• You will have operational responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the Youth Justice Service and ensure it is delivered seamlessly and safely to a high standard within its regulatory HMIP framework.
• You will be leading on the continuous improvement of standards and outcomes for young people and families informed by analysis of quantitative data and qualitative feedback.
• You will lead the leadership and management team which consists of Team Managers, Senior practitioners, Performance and Business support and seconded officers from Education, Probation, Health, and Criminal justice.

Further requirements:

You will be the overall strategic lead for the Young People at Risk Strategy, working with a wide range of key stakeholders. This role is a systems leadership post; therefore you will be working in partnership with service users, health providers, schools, social care, police, courts and the voluntary sector ensuring a high level of engagement to ensure a good quality, efficient, effective economic and service user focussed system.
