Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join Hackney’s regional Forensic service in their Assessments team. 

The Forensic Social Work Team provides a social care service to inpatients and community patients, working closely with families and other carers.

Your main responsibilities as a Forensic Senior Social Worker:

• Provide a comprehensive social work service to all patients within the unit. 
• Act as Social Supervisor for certain discharged patients and to act as nominated Care Co-ordinator for certain other discharged patients, as determined on clinical grounds. 
• To ensure that relevant legislation is applied to promote patient care and the safety of the public. In particular to be familiar with and apply the provisions of the Mental Health Act 1983 and the principles of the Care Programme Approach. 

What we are looking for in a Forensic Senior Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
