As a successful Healthcare Assistant, you will be joining a short-term service, which makes people safe and refers them on to other appropriate services as needed.
 
Their focus is primarily admission avoidance to secondary care, keeping people safe in their own homes, including people at the end of their life, and also supporting discharges from secondary care or in-patient units
 
We have Domiciliary Care vacancies available in:

• Kings Lynn
• Norwich 
• Wymondham

Depending on the team, your duties as a Health Care Assistant will include:

• Providing personal care, meal preparation and medication support, wound care, prompting prescribed exercise programmes, providing prescribed equipment, and completing night-sits
• Good communication and collaboration as part of the nursing and therapy team is essential

 
Essential requirements of this Healthcare Assistant role:

• A full UK licence, with access to your own vehicle
• Available to work 8-8 shifts
• Relevant Health and Social Care qualification
• Previous experience in a Health Care Assistant role
• The legal right to work in the UK
