Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to join a busy LAC/Safeguarding/CP Team based in East London.

Your main responsibilities as an Independent Reviewing Officer:

• To conduct statutory Looked After Child Reviews.
• To ensure that each Looked After Child Review takes place in accordance with Regulations, and national and local guidance and procedures.
• To support and contribute to the development of monitoring criteria and systems,
• To contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assurance measures in
  respect of work with children and families
• To contribute to the publication of information for the general public, service users and
  service providers in relation to planning and reviewing for Looked After Children.
• To provide specialist advice and guidance to staff on Looked After Children matters.

What we are looking for in an Independent Reviewing Officer:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
