Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Learning Mentor to join our client based in Nuneaton.

Your main responsibilities as a Learning Mentor:
- Day to day responsibility for the operation and implementation of the mentoring
This includes: Providing individual support for named students or groups of students as directed by the Lead Mentor. - With colleagues, identifying the barriers to learning and supporting the
development of programmes which overcome these under the direction of subject - Supporting the assessment and analysis of student need and planning and executing
programmes of support to meet those needs. - Providing general support to a group of students during lessons and other activities.
- Providing ‘Colour Feedback Sessions’ to their named students and/or a group of
students as required by the SENCO. - Providing specified support to enable students to integrate.
- Accompanying students on visits and trips outside the school, formal and informal.
What we are looking for in a Learning Mentor:
- Legal right to work in the UK
- SEN experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children and young people
- Able to speak and write clearly and use functional Maths to support children and young people.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Must be adaptable and resilient
