Mental Health Officer – Stirling – Mental Health Team
 
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Mental Health Officer to join the busy team at a Stirling based Mental Health Team.

You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to adult and their families, arising out of the council’s duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy.

Primary Responsibilities as a Mental Health Officer:

• To work as a member of a Social Services Mental Health Team and Care Management Services
• To ensure that users are appraised of services and resources relevant to their needs and to benefit from such service resources where appropriate
• To undertake training and development and utilise skills aimed at increasing the effectiveness of MHO and Assessment and Care Management Services
• To carry out further duties as appropriate and necessary, in addition to Mental Health Officer duties, e.g., Contribute to the support of students on placement

Further Information:

You will carry out statutory duties under the Mental Health Act 2003, the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000, the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and other legislation as required. To undertake assessments, within an outcome focused framework, for community Care services including, to plan, arrange and manage care packages.

What we are looking for in a Mental Health Officer:

• SSSC registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
