Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Team based in Sheffield as a Practice Manager.

As a successful candidate, you will be holding a caseload of foster carers, primarily transferring from the recruitment and assessment pod whilst providing focussed support to build on the foster carers strengths and ensure compliance.

What will you be doing?

• Manage the short term placement team and internal placement finding activity.
• Manage a pod of 3 social workers , 1 advanced practitioner and placement co-ordinator.
• Work with the Team Manager and Practice Managers for the Recruitment & Assessment and Permanence Pods to ensure the Foster Care Services Strategic Plan is achieved.
• Regularly meet with staff in your pod in person and work closely alongside the existing practice and team managers.

What we are looking for:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
