£50,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Psychologist to join our client in Birmingham, on a permanent contract.
As a successful Psychologist you will be joining a 24-bedded rehabilitation hospital, which provides care for women over the age of 18. Patients admitted to the hospital may be informal or detained under the Mental Health Act with a primary diagnosis of mental health illness and personality disorder, with complex needs.

What will you be doing as a Psychologist in Birmingham:
- You will be responsible for providing high quality clinical assessments
- You will support with the delivery of a full ward programme which will include facilitating groups and managing a case load of patient for individual therapy sessions.
- You will use a range of psychological therapies including dialectical behavioural therapy. You will be involved in Risk Assessments and Management
- You will be delivering a full programme for groups and individuals for therapy primarily using DBT/CBT, Risk Assessments and Management.
- There will be emphasis on providing comprehensive and specialist assessments, intervention packages to patients to help them develop resilience, make sense of past life events, improve attachment to relationships, make sense of emotional, behavioural, and developmental difficulties that can result from experience of abuse, neglect, maltreatment and/or adversity.
- You will also be responsible for completing patient reports, inputting data on Carenotes, completing 16-week timetable.
Essential requirements of this Psychologist role:
- Qualified Psychologist with post qualified experience in working in mental health services.
- Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays
- You will promote good relationships with patient, relatives, public, other care organisations, and all members of the multidisciplinary care team
- You will promote good communication skills written and verbally
