Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the busy team at a Blackburn based Children in Care Team.

You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to children and their families, arising out of the council’s duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy.

Primary Responsibilities as a Qualified Social Worker: 

• To undertake pathway plan/ needs assessments for complex young people / young adults, in partnership with the young person ensuring that the young person’s voice is central to the assessment, ensuring their needs are met
• To work as part of a multi-agency team to deliver the appropriate plan for young people/young adults you are working alongside
• To be available for supervision, as required and to prepare for supervisory sessions, as required by the Team Manager
• To ensure that all work is completed within the stated timescales in accordance with both national and local policy

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
