Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the busy team at a Knowsley based Prevention Team.

You will provide assessment, care management and social work services to adults and their families, arising out of the council’s duties and powers under legislation, Council and Group policy.

Primary Responsibilities as a Qualified Social Worker:

• To support clients with their personal care as determined within their individual care plan which include supporting service users undertake activities such as dressing, washing, bathing, toileting, eating, drinking, taking medication and communicating
• To provide support for individuals who may regularly place emotional demands on the jobholder; and raising significant issues to the manager
• To ensure the accurate administration and recording of medication, including rescue medication, in line with the Councils Medication policy
• To ensure that service users are safely transported between venues and events and taking appropriate action in line with agreed protocols, procedures and practice to deal with issues that arise during the journey

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
