Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for Secondary English Lead to join our client based in East Ham, Newham.
Our client is an all-through special school for pupils with severe Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) identified as their primary need.

Your duties as a Secondary English Lead:
- Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and inspiring curriculum for students
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and supporting pupils social, emotional and mental health needs
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and tutor
Requirements as a Secondary English Lead:
- Leadership responsibilities of/within a team – Desirable
- Successful teaching experience and experience of leading within a subject area / Key stages – Essential
- Successful teaching experience and experience of leading within more than one subject area / Key stages – Essential
- Experience of teaching in more than one school – Desirable
- Degree – essential
- QTS – Essential
- Evidence of CPD – Essential

All pupils have or are in the process of being assessed to have Education Health and Care (EHC) plans issued. They have an ambitious, broad and balanced curriculum that enables pupils to discover and nurture talents and prepares them for their next steps.
