Senior Social Worker – Sandwell – Children in Care
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social worker for a role within a Children in Care for the under 14s & Over 14s Teams.
Our client has vacancies for Social Workers to join our Children in Care Teams within the newly realigned Operations Service. Based in a locality model with a focus on good quality assessments and dynamic planning which deliver timely evidence-based interventions and the progress of pre-proceedings/care proceedings through to permanency planning, this service will strengthen partnership working with families in local communities.

What will you be doing as a Senior Social Worker in Sandwell?
- Work directly with disabled children
- Cover and support duty
- Carry out single assessments
- Undertake child protection work, children in care work and high-level child in need
- Work with a ‘children first’ approach
- Incorporate social inclusion principles, anti-oppressive practice, and person-centred ways
Essential Requirements of this Senior Social Worker role:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
