Social Worker – Barnsley – Older People/Mental Health
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Older People/Mental Health Team based in Barnsley.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:
- To provide social care services to adults and families. Expected to undertake cases independently and demonstrate an ability to adapt the approach from first principles to deal with more complex or unusual cases, assessing and managing risks appropriately.
- You would be expected to undertake clear and detailed service user and carer assessments including care act assessments, continuing health care, mental capacity and safeguarding assessments, in accordance with relevant statutory requirements, identifying risks, needs and options.
- Manage the planning and review of cases, adapting and creating innovative packages to meet needs, promoting independence and early intervention as well as the personalisation agenda.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
