Social Worker – Fostering Team – In the Bedfordshire area – Salary from £38,296 up to £42,503 + Benefits

The role:
You will be actively making a difference to the children and young people by working in the fostering team. You will have at least 2 years  social work experience and be in a position to assist your lesser experienced colleagues. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
– Recruitment and assessment of prospective Special Guardians, Kinship, Connected Persons Carers & General Carers
– Assists with local recruitment activities, including participation in initiatives, as well as monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness of methods
– Undertakes initial visits
– Undertakes formal assessment using the BAAF Form F and adhering to the standards and requirements of the process
– Presentation of Form F and support of carer applicants at Panel

About you:
– Must have a Social Work Degree and be Social Work England registered
– Must have a minimum of 2 years Social Worker experience
