Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our clients Intermediate Care Team in Warrington.

Your duties as a Social Worker in Warrington:

• You will complete assessments under legislative framework, including identification of riskand the need for protection and determine what intervention is needed
• You will liase and negotiate with customers, carers, hospital colleagues and all agencies to ensure services provide the best standards of support and value for money
• You will manage an allocated workload within Directorate priorities and Council policies
• You will maintain appropriate and timely electronic records of work undertaken and carry out required administrative procedures
• You will prepare for and attend Time to Talk sessions and staff meetings and make use of all relevant, available training and development opportunities
• You will maintain evidence of practice to meet continual professional development requirements
• You will contribute to the team’s duty rota, screen enquiries and referrals made to the service in accordance with policies and procedures
• You will contribute to the evaluation and development of services and new ideas by sharing knowledge about theory, skills and practice with other team members professional groups and interested bodies
• You will carry out all duties with due regard to confidentiality and data protection
  regulations

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
