Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our clients Kinship Assessment Team in Leicester City.

As a successful Social Worker you will employ a variety of social work knowledge, skills and methods when completing Connected persons Assessments and supporting SGO documentation for Fostering Panel, Legal Planning Meetings and Court.

Your duties as a Social Worker in Leicester City:

• Participate and support carers in attending LAC Reviews and Fostering Panel
  Use Leicester City Councils Connected Persons Templates to provide evidence based, robust Connected Persons/SGO assessments, that comply with statutory regulations (eg Medicals, Social Care checks, DBS, References and speak to all children of applicants) and evidence need and risk
• Work with carers, applicants, children, and young people in accordance with consent, confidentiality, complaints and GDPR guidelines
  Maintain up to date records and fostering documentation on Leicester City Councils systems and templates (Health and Safety Checklist, Dog Questionnaire, Fire Evacuation Plan & Safe Caring Policy)
• Take account of a child’s and her/his family’s culture, identity, lived experiences, racial and linguistic background, and religious persuasion in providing a service
• Be responsible for meeting assessment timescales and attending court as and when required
  Maintain regular, efficient, and reliable liaison with other agencies
• To participate in monthly supervision

 
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
