Lewisham Council are looking for an exceptional Adults Social Worker to join their Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub. They are working towards being one of the best councils to live and work. With this comes exceptional standards for their Social Services.

Essential requirements for the role:

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of legislation including statutory responsibilities relating to Adult Social Care Service and good understanding of current best practice in social work and safeguarding adults, and the ability to apply this in a local context, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and principles of Making Safeguarding Personal. You will have experience in safeguarding teams and should have a clear understanding of safeguarding thresholds and evidence of extensive practice-based experience where risks have been high and complex.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
