Liquid Personnel is currently looking for a Social Worker to join a Safeguarding Team in Newport.

Your duties as a Social Worker:

• To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues
• To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies, and procedures.
• To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary
• Must be autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs and their carers

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
