Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Team based in Northamptonshire.

As a successful candidate, you will be joining the Connected Persons Team which assesses potential Special Guardianship carers or Connected Persons foster carers.

In this role you will assess and support potential Connected Persons carers who have come forward through the PLO process to offer a long-term placement for children who are connected to them. This involves working with extended family and friends who have an existing relationship with the children.

Your duties as a Fostering Social Worker:

• Fostering recruitment and assessment of prospective special guardians, kinship, connected persons carers & general carers in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that children and young people in our care reach their full potential.
• Undertaking Form F, Special Guardianship and Connected Persons assessments.
• Supporting and supervising approved foster carers.

Your requirements as a Fostering Social Worker:

• Qualified Social Worker, with a valid Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience in Children’s Services
