Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Safeguarding/ Mental Health Team based in Salford.

We require a social worker with experience of adult safeguarding work who also ideally has experience working in mental health services. Applicants should have strong social work values, a good working knowledge of the Care Act / Care and Support statutory guidance and other national guidance as it relates to safeguarding adults.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

• Representing GMMH at Salford’s weekly multi-agency risk assessment conference (MARAC), twice weekly GMP led vulnerable adult meetings and fortnightly Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Meetings (DAPP).
• Providing advice and support to the teams in relation to domestic abuse and MARAC referrals.
• Acting as a link to the child safeguarding teams based at the Bridge in Salford.
• Supporting individual staff and managers to work in accordance with s.42 Care Act and local adult safeguarding policy / procedures.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
