Liquid Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adoption Support Team based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will be supporting families post adoption, in addition to assessments and assisting with support groups and some direct work with families. For this role, knowledge of the Adoption Support Fund would be an advantage but not essential and both full-time and part-time options are available.

What will you be doing?

• Assist the Department in providing a high quality adoption service for Looked After Children.
• Assess the needs of adopted children and their families.
• Undertake direct work with adopted children and families to improve attachments
• Strengthen bonds and support carers with a therapeutic model of parenting
• Working across the Adoption Service as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
