Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities Team based in Surrey.

The post holder will provide a professional social work service to adults their families and carers living in Surrey in line with the requirements of the Care Act.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker include:

• Provide a professional social work service, including statutory social care responsibilities
• Contribute to service delivery that is strengths based and outcome focused with an emphasis on promoting independence and enabling recovery
• Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to address complex needs and achieve the most ideal outcomes for individuals and their carers that supports their choice and independence
• Work collaboratively with health colleagues to ensure safe and timely discharges from hospital, to the most appropriate service and setting for the individual

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
