Staff Nurse – Stroke Rehab / Medical – Central London – Up to £38,000 per annum
We are currently looking for an experienced Staff Nurse to join a fantastic Stroke Rehabilitation and Medical Ward in Central London.

As a successful Staff Nurse, you will be joining a 10 bed-ward which provides care for stroke rehabilitation and medical patients. The ward covers the following specialties: geriatric medicine, respiratory, cardiology, endocrinology, hematology, and neurology.

What will you be doing as a Staff Nurse?

• You will assist in the planning and the delivery of individualized, safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care
• You will ensure the provision of a welcoming, caring, and safe environment for patients and their families
• You will participate in the efficient operational management of the department, providing support to the shift leaders and Ward Manager
• You will undertake daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks on the ward when assigned accordingly
• You will chaperone / assist consultants with procedures and assist nursing colleagues where required
• You will undertake the clinical tasks involved with admissions, preparing patients for investigations and procedures, doing appropriate referrals to other health care staff and facilities, and discharging patients

Essential requirements of this Staff Nurse role:

• Qualified Nurse, with valid NMC Registration
• Evidence of ongoing training and a commitment to development
• Evidence of accumulation of relevant experience/knowledge
• Evidence of knowledge base and competency in the clinical specialities of the ward
• You must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with peers, colleagues, patients, and their families
• The legal right to work in the UK
