Social Work Manager – Assessment Team – Stockton

Liquid Personnel is currently looking for an Experienced Social Work Manager to join our client’s team in Stockton.

Due to the nature of this role, our client requires Social Work Manager who has post qualified experience in a similar role.

Your duties as Social Work Manager:

• To interpret local and national policy and legislation and advise management on the implications in terms of service provision and resources. To include the provision of statistics and reports as appropriate
• To manage assessment and child protection and adult investigation processes, to make service decisions regarding service demand and resource availability in accordance with the Directorate policies and delegated responsibilities.
• To monitor and control agreed devolved budgets, and financial management systems in accordance with financial regulations, Social Services and City Council policy.
