Team Manager – Children with Disabilities – Devon – £44 per hour

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join the Children with Disabilities Team based in Devon.
As a successful candidate, you will be working with families who need support to help them care for their disabled child as well as working with children in need, children in need of protection, children in care and young people in transition.

What will you be doing?

• Managing a team of 9 staff with an Assistant Team Manager.
• Supporting team members with varying levels of experience to develop their skills.
• Ensure good performance to achieve the best outcomes for children and their families.
• Champion personal and professional growth through reflective supervision meetings with social workers.
• Demonstrate experience of promoting practice that improves outcomes for children, and an understanding of challenging underperformance where needed.
• Working with complex children and family situations, including court work.

What will you be doing?

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
