Team Manager – London – Early Help

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Team Manager to join the busy team at a London based Early Help Team.

The Early Help Service consists of 3 team managers, 6 senior practitioners, 36 Family Support workers and 1 Business Support Officers. The workforce is very stable, motivated, committed, and enthusiastic.

Primary Responsibilities as a Team Manager:

  • Ensuring timely and effective decision making, case allocation and effective multi-agency working.
  • Empowering and inspiring our Family Support workers to get the best outcomes for children.
  • Being an active member of the senior leadership group.
  • Accountability for the performance of your team, delivering regular reflective supervision and have the ability to motivate your team to achieve excellence.

Further Information:

You will be an experienced Team Manager with a strong background in Frontline Social work. You should also be confident with managing teams, understand thresholds and Direct work with families. The service has manageable caseloads at approximately 25 children per Family Support worker currently with consistently strong assessment timeliness. The service has strong relationships with MASH, The Assessment teams and the wider partnership. We are now looking for a Team Manager.

What we are looking for in a Team Manager:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK license
  • post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
