Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join the Children in Care Team based in Medway.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the work allocated to your team, ensuring that this is completed to the highest standards and with the child’s welfare central to decision making.

Duties as a Children in Care Team Manager:

• Lead, manage, and motivate experienced staff and newly qualified workers, whilst also deputising and supporting the Group Manager where necessary
• Build effective working relationships, demonstrate strong analytical skills and robust understanding of the care proceedings process
• Focus on the delivery of outstanding care planning to ensure children and young people experience the best possible care and achievement of permanence at the earliest opportunity

Requirements as a Children in Care Team Manager:

• Degree or equivalent in Social Work
• Post qualified experience in Children’s Services
• Registered with Social Work England
• Eligible to work in the UK
