Team Manager – Northumberland – 14+ Leaving Care Team

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join the 14+ Leaving Care Team based in Northumberland.

As a successful candidate, you will have the drive and determination to contribute to the future development of the service, monitoring performance and ensuring quality in the delivery of work. You will also have experience in managing social workers within a safeguarding setting, management experience that reflects your ability to lead, develop and support a team of social workers and leaving care support work staff.

Your duties as a Social Work Team Manager:

  • Display experience of working with young people with a variety of needs and a proven ability to improve outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues from partner agencies.
  • Listen to the child’s voice and ensure that this is taken into account.
  • Be passionate about maximising a child’s life chances to improve their overall outcomes.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to make decisions and plans with children and their families, utilising the Signs of Safety approach.

Your requirements as a Social Work Team Manager:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
