Your duties as a Youth justice officer:

As a Youth justice officer, you will work as part of the Youth Offending Unit (YOU) and undertake all duties in relation to Safeguarding young people and managing risk to the community. The candidate will need to be able to write PSR reports, carry out high quality assessments using Asset plus; deliver interventions to reduce the risk of further offending and manage risk of harm to themselves and others.

Essential requirements of this Youth justice officer role:

• Relevant degree or equivalent.
• Will need minimum two years’ experience of working with children and young people in the Youth Justice system. 
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK licence.
