Calm Harm

Calm Harm is an incredibly useful app for people at risk of self-harming.  It presents the user with tasks which can help them to resist the urge to self-harm. These tasks are split into four different categories:  ‘Express’ allows you to let your feelings out in an alternative way; ‘Comfort’ helps to care rather than harm; ‘Distract’ teaches self-control and ‘Release’ gives ideas of safe alternatives to self-injury.  The app is entirely confidential and password protected.
