London Child Sexual Exploitation Training event 2016
On 9th September 2016 Liquid Personnel hosted a training event for 100 people, covering the topic of Child Sexual Exploitation.
We had people travelling from across London and beyond to the event, which was presented by Robin Watts, a retired police officer who spent a decade of his detective career specializing in child protection investigations as well as establishing a CSE - dedicated training unit.
Attendees gave us very positive feedback, with a lot mentioning how the topics covered provided them with knowledge that they could implement into their practice.
CSE is the fastest-growing type of child abuse in Britain, which makes it hugely important that social workers are aware of the signs of exploitation, how to safeguard against it and how to support CSE victims.
The Liquid training counts towards social workers’ HCPC mandated continuous professional development, and provides valuable insight and experience to open up future career paths.
If this training appeals to you, Liquid Personnel are running another CSE event based in Leeds on 14th October 2016. The event will be again presented by Robin Watts.
We will also be running a Prevention of Radicalisation and FGM Training Event in Bristol on 30th September 2016.
