Supporting "The Empty Shop" charity fashion collaboration
Liquid Personnel are very proud to announce their support of "The Empty Shop", a new charity initiative supporting homeless people in Manchester this January.
A collaboration between homeless charity Mustard Tree, designers Clarke Gough and Manchester Arndale shopping centre, "The Empty Shop" opens on January 23rd 2014.
The general public will donate clothes to fill up the Empty Shop, with fashion bloggers and stylists transforming the store and creating displays from the donations. Every evening the store will be emptied and the clothes will be donated to local homeless people in need, or sold to raise funds for the charity Mustard Tree.
Adrian Nottingham, CEO of Mustard Tree said, “Mustard Tree is delighted to be participating in this innovative project. We are proud that Manchester is taking a lead in seeking to broker practical solutions and raise awareness of the plight of the increasing number of its residents facing homelessness and marginalization”.
At Liquid, our staff will be working together to collect and deliver a donation of clothes for The Empty Shop. To find out more about this great initiative, visit: http://www.emptyshopmanchester.co.uk/
