Sam’s Story
Background
Sam completed a one-year internship at Liquid while studying for his Business Management degree, during which he learned all about marketing and recruitment, gaining experience across many areas of the business. After completing his final year and graduating, he came back to Liquid as a Trainee Consultant.
Liquid Academy
Like the majority of our trainees, Sam had no previous experience in recruitment or in the social work sector, so the training provided by Liquid was crucial. He has actively been involved with the Liquid Academy as a consultant, helping to mentor our new recruits, and holding training sessions on specialist recruitment skills.
Progression
Since becoming a recruitment consultant, Sam has been promoted three times, to Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant and then Interim Team Manager. Whilst a Principal Consultant, Sam also qualified for Liquid’s Executive Club. He has most recently started managing the Adults’ Services team for the Midlands, South West and North, one of the fastest growing, and most successful teams in the business.
