Meet Tim Spencer-Lane, Lawyer at the Law Commission for England and Wales. Tim spearheaded the Law Commissions’ review of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards under the Mental Capacity Act 2015.
With a wealth of experience in health and social care regulation, he has also played key roles in various reviews, including adult social care and the regulation of health professionals. Tim is the acclaimed author of the Care Act Manual (Sweet and Maxwell) and serves as a General Editor of the Encyclopedia of Social Services and Child Care Law.
