Dealing with safeguarding issues can be extremely challenging. It is, therefore, important to take time to reflect on current practices and to understand how people can take care of their own wellbeing and how we can prioritise the wellbeing of those who may be unable to do so. This event will count as 90 minutes of CPD, and you’ll get a certificate of attendance after the event for your records.

Brea Attrill
Brea has worked within the social housing sector for over 10 years within in care and supported accommodation. Brea has managed her organisation’s operational and strategic response to domestic abuse, she plays a key role in raising awareness of abuse and neglect, developing training programs, leading on section 42 enquires and embedding good practice.
Brea has a wealth of knowledge and has worked across a diversity of settings such as; older persons accommodation, residential care homes, mental health pathways, learning disabilities and autism accommodation, homelessness and substance misuse pathway, and multiple complex-needs units. She has vast experience of working with safeguarding adult boards and sub groups, inputting into local workforce development and continued improvements.
Safeguarding people and communities regardless of circumstance has always been a passion of Brea’s, due to working with vulnerable adults and children for the majority of her career, Brea knows the importance of collaboratively working when it comes to safeguarding, building key relationships with stakeholders and working together effectively. She is a keen promoter of co-creation of services and training, with the service users and organisations staff.
